The Heart and the Midline
In this 3-day course, we will explore the importance of the heart and its qualities of empathy, compassion, and loving kindness as the inspiration for our social engagement.
We are heart-centered beings. One of our basic longings as human beings is to seek meaningful heart connections with other human beings.
The heart has its own energy field with an organizing midline at its core.
When this midline is synchronized and aligned to the central midline, a sense of flow and harmony is naturally experienced – we experience a sense of being home, and we are in the right place within ourselves and with our surrounding.
But challenging situations, especially in our early childhood, may create conditions disrupt our heart field’s synchronicity and alignment with the central midline. We then experience a sense of discontent and disharmony that may ultimately affect the physical body and our connection to others.
During this course:
- We will deepen our understanding of the biodynamic principles guiding our session work.
- We will explore the embryonic formation of the heart and the importance of the heart ignition as the affirmation of embodiment.
- We will explore the heart as an organizing energy field with its specific midline, and synchronize with the stillness at its core.
- We will explore the social engagement system and how our physiology supports our social interactions.
- We will explore how the physical heart and its supportive structures respond to adverse conditions.
- We will include these different elements in our craniosacral resonance practice.
This course is open to anybody who has completed the foundation craniosacral resonance trainings or an equivalent biodynamic craniosacral training.
After two successfully completed courses in craniosacral resonance in Slovenia, there are enough graduates to organize the first three-day post-graduation weekend in December – The Heart and the Midline, namely on:
- Friday, 18th December 2020, 10.00–18.00
- Saturday, 19th December 2020, 10.00–18.00
- Sunday, 20st December 2020, 10.00–18.00.
The location will be announced at a later time, once the number of participants is final. The event is suitable for everyone who has taken part in and successfully completed the course in craniosacral resonance.
Lunch will also be organized (vegan and gluten-free) for those interested. It will be prepared by Mrs. Mateja Ulaga (www.kuha.si), and the price of €11 can be paid at the event.
The price of the event is €250.
