Inflammatory Interference Field Removal
The Identifying and Removal of Inflammatory Interference Fields in the Oral Cavity Inflammation in the oral cavity is common. Even when you don’t feel any pain, you might have inflammatory interference fields which influence your body and burden your immune system. We recommend a regular check-up of your teeth as this is the only effective way to identify any potential hidden interference fields.
Healthy teeth and healthy surrounding tissue are not a cause of trouble. However, the absence of pain doesn’t mean that your mouth is healthy. Many times, patients experience no problem, but hidden interference fields are discovered during a check-up. The concept of identifying and removing interference fields in the oral cavity is based on specific principles.
Interference fields in your mouth might be:
- Dead, untreated teeth
- Root treated teeth with visible inflammation signs
- Inflamed surrounding tissue
- Inflamed bone tissue after tooth extraction
When the interference field is removed, your body is unburdened, and certain symptoms might disappear. For example, when alopecia areata (hair loss in round spots) is a consequence of chronic tooth inflammation, the hair grows back when the inflamed tooth is removed.
Diagnostics Steps:
- Health questionnaire – detailed medical history
- Dental examination of teeth and surrounding tissue with an intraoral camera
- 2D (Orthopantomogram) X-ray of both jaws
- 3D CBCT X-ray of both jaws
- If necessary, vitality tooth tests
The most important part of removing interference fields is removing its causes, namely a thorough removal of dead tissue, the removal of inflamed teeth and inflamed surrounding bone, and the treatment of inflamed surrounding soft tissue. A laser and/or ozone are used to treat these problems. A neutral full-ceramic implant is advised as tooth replacement.
