BEMER – Magnetic field therapy
Treatment with BEMER medical devices by itself offers a wide range of treatments, and provides excellent support for treatment, regeneration, rehabilitation and prevention.
Treatment with BEMER medical devices supports basic physiological processes, thus improving natural self-regulating mechanisms, and has the following scientifically proven effects: effects on microcirculation, immune system, protein biosynthesis, and the formation of body's own radical scavengers.
Treatment with BEMER medical devices by itself offers a wide range of treatments, and provides excellent support for treatment, regeneration, rehabilitation and prevention.
BEMER medical devices can be used as adjunct therapy wherever microcirculatory disorders have been the cause, have affected, or have accompanied conditions or symptoms of deficiency.
How does BEMER therapy work?
With weak and pulsating electromagnetic fields generated by special multidimensional signals, BEMER products can stimulate vasomotor (rhythmic contraction) of the small and smallest blood vessels of living organisms. Using special biorhythmic modulation, they synergistically affect slightly larger vessels before and after them smaller vessels. Thus, the distribution of blood components in the area of microcirculation in the treated organisms is more favourable. The results are better functioning of natural regulatory mechanisms, strengthening of the immune system, better production of the body's own radical scavengers, improved protein synthesis.
BEMER technology can be used as prevention or as a complementary treatment for all conditions in which the improvement of microcirculation and its accompanying effects has therapeutic significance in living organisms.
With its photobiological light mechanisms, the B.LIGHT application module complements the advantages of treatment with the BEMER medical device. With its light effect, B.LIGHT promotes skin regeneration. Very bright LEDs emit pulsed monochromatic red light with a wavelength of 660 nm, which makes B.LIGHT especially suitable for supportive treatment of skin diseases or complementary cosmetic treatment.
Which conditions can be affected with BEMER therapy?
BEMER complementary therapy can help you with: allergies, osteoarthritis, arthritis, asthma, circulatory problems, diabetes, skin problems, poor circulation, migraines, metabolic disorders, injuries to the locomotor and support system, sleep problems, wound healing, etc.
Furthermore, BEMER therapy:
- Reduces susceptibility to infections.
- Strengthens the body's defences.
- Improves protection against free radicals.
- Improves the supply and removal of waste products from organs and tissues.
- Improves the supply of nutrients and oxygen.
- Strengthens deacidification of the organism.
- Reduces stress.
- Increases performance and adaptability of the body.
- Reduces the risk of sports injuries and shortens regeneration time.
- Improves fitness.
- Improves concentration.
Foundation for health and fitness
The basic condition for maintaining or restoring health and the processes of recovery and regeneration in the human body is good blood circulation, as the blood supplies the organism with nutrients and oxygen and removes the final products of metabolism and toxins.
About 74% of blood circulation takes place in the smallest blood vessels. Within this so-called 'microcirculation', blood flows through arterioles, capillaries and venules. The natural rhythmic change of their diameter (vasomotion) regulates the distribution of blood along the giant network of capillaries. In healthy individuals, vasomotion occurs about three times a minute, while in ill or sick individual, only once every ten minutes. This slow 'rhythm' must therefore be stimulated or normalised in a way that is similar to 'microvascular stimulation'.
- Before starting treatment with BEMER technology, you should discuss your conditions or illnesses with your physician/therapist.
- Prescribed medication may be changed only after consultation with your physician.
- Improved blood flow due to treatment with BEMER medical devices may increase the effect of medications that thin the blood or inhibit blood clotting. In such patients, who are regularly taking anticoagulants, frequent monitoring of coagulation factor by a physician authorised by BEMER is essential when starting treatment with BEMER technology.
- Physical reactions that cannot be explained and occur during treatment with BEMER medical devices should be discussed with the BEMER advisory service so that you can respond appropriately to any emerging condition.
- Individuals who have undergone an organ or cell transplant, and who have therefore been prescribed immunosuppressants by their physician, should not be treated with BEMER technology.
- Individuals with infectious diseases, severe heart rhythm disorders, severe psychosis and untreated illnesses that can lead to seizures (e.g. epilepsy) must obtain the consent of their treating physician before starting treatment with BEMER technology.
- According to current scientific findings, individuals with electronic implants may use BEMER technology if the electronic implant meets the requirements of Directive 90/385/EEC on active implantable medical devices. If you have any further questions or require clarifications, consult your treating physician.
- If you are pregnant, have a tumour or other serious condition that requires constant medical treatment and medication, you should consult your treating physician about additional treatment with BEMER systems.
- Treatment with BEMER medical devices significantly supports, but should not replace, treatment under the supervision of a physician/therapist.
