Craniosacral Resonance for Babies and Children
As Craniosacral Resonance is a very respectful, gentle and non-evasive modality, it is well suited for babies and children.
Craniosacral resonance helps babies to settle after birth as issues around nurturing, sleep, hyperirritability are addressed. It also contributes to strengthen bonding and attachment between baby and parents, which helps to form a more secure attachment.
Therapy Procedure for Children
A session is adapted to the age, condition or issues your child is experiencing. A safe and comfortable environment is created so that the child can settle. It is a common experience that children eventually fall into a deep state of relaxation. Game, storytelling or listening to music are often used. At least one of the parents is present during the session.
Therapy Length
Children generally respond to treatment faster than adults. Treatments are thus shorter, lasting approximately 30 to 60 minutes. The length of the treatment depends on the child’s response.
Craniosacral Resonance has shown to be beneficial in the following conditions:
- Complications at birth: Caesarean birth, vacuum extraction, breech position, shoulder dystocia, invasive medical procedures
