In Part 2 of the webinar series, Dr. Hočevar will explore advanced treatment planning, challenging anatomical situations, immediate implant protocols, and clinical decision-making in the aesthetic zone. Dr. Gregor Hočevar – Expertise in Ceramic Implantology
His primary areas of expertise are ceramic implantology and prosthodontics, with a particular focus on immediate ceramic implant placement in the aesthetic zone. He has developed a surgical technique designed to optimize soft-tissue aesthetics following immediate implant placement.
Dr. Hočevar graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ljubljana in 1996, where he received the Prešeren Award and the Oražen Award for the best graduate of his generation. In 2017, following a two-year postgraduate education program in Germany and Switzerland, he became the first dentist from Slovenia to earn the title Spezialist für Biologische Zahnheilkunde und Keramikimplantate.
During the 2021/2022 academic year, he completed the 2nd Level University Master in Oral Implantology program at the International University of Health Sciences in Rome, focusing his academic work on Immediate Ceramic Implant Placement in the Esthetic Zone.
Dr. Hočevar regularly shares his clinical experience and expertise with the international professional community through congresses, lectures, and hands-on educational programs, while also contributing professional content in the field of ceramic implantology. His participation in the CAPP webinar continues his international educational and professional work in this field.
